Processing of personal data

Avalerion values your personal privacy. All processing of personal data we carry out takes place in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has applied since 25 May 2018. At Avalerion, as data controller, we intend to process personal data provided to us in connection with website registrations, e-mail consent, events, recruitment activities, social media, newsletter subscriptions, and similar activities.

The purpose of collecting personal data

At Avalerion we process personal data that you have provided to us in order to administer it in anticipation of future contact. Registrations and personal data are administered in order to enter into potential agreements with you, provide information about ongoing projects and services in connection with enquiries and support matters. The personal data we process includes name, e-mail address, and IP address — information that can be traced back to you as a person. Please note that when you use our website there are features that allow you to submit information that may be considered personal data. You may only submit information about other people if you have their consent to provide us with their information.

Legal basis

Avalerion processes your personal data in accordance with GDPR. Where necessary, we process your personal data to fulfil a contract with you and where we have another legitimate and justified interest in doing so. We will obtain your consent before we begin processing your personal data where required by law.

Your consent

By registering your personal data on our website, you consent to Avalerion, as data controller, using that data to improve our services, products, and support, to inform you about the status of ongoing and upcoming events, and to conduct client surveys. By registering with Avalerion you also consent to receiving information and marketing material by e-mail, telephone, post, or equivalent means, provided you have given us your phone number or e-mail address at registration or at a later stage. Avalerion reserves the right to document your communication with us.

You have the right to receive information from Avalerion about the processing of personal data that concerns you. We will, at your request or on our own initiative, correct data found to be incorrect. You are entitled, once per year, to request in writing — signed by hand — information about what data is registered about you. You have the right to request that your data not be used for direct marketing.

If you do not wish to receive offers and/or marketing, please contact us at marketing@avalerions.com or unsubscribe in one of our mailings. If data proves to be incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise irrelevant, Avalerion is obliged to take corrective action.
